Why 64×64?
Minecraft's server list has always used a fixed 64×64 pixel icon — the client silently ignores anything else, so a logo exported at a different resolution just won't show up, even if the filename is correct. This tool crops your image to a centered square first, then scales it down cleanly so text and detail stay as readable as possible at that size.
Tips for a logo that reads well at 64px
- Keep it simple — fine detail and small text disappear at this size.
- High contrast between the subject and background reads better in a cluttered server list.
- Start from a square image if you can; this tool center-crops non-square images, which can cut off the edges of a wide banner or logo.
